Since he's energy powered he wouldn't need to. I guess though that it would be pretty funny to imagine him venting some energy periodically through the day.
Love that scene! My only crit would be that the corrugated steel might look better at maybe half it's current size. Everything else just looks beautiful, congrats!

made a cutscene for the new TOB soundtrack stuff- we've only got 4 days to go and half of our target to make so if anyone has the money to throw at a dedicated team, we'd appreciate it! http://kck.st/Oe8oHg
here is a rough wip of a scene I am working on my free time.
its based on a concept by john liberto, still need to model the main chair and many other props before really starting any decent shading/texturing. by now I ve slapped some textures on top to give me an idea as I go... c&c are welcome.
planning to do a textured low-poly version of this. dreading the texturing, though...
high-poly mostly done, have to patch up some holes and add the remaining visible parts of the frame. some details, too
do you see any issues, that features and details of the high-poly might be hard to bake down to the normal map?
@Ged: Thanks you a lot!!!! About the perspective thing, I just export it to max and render it out so.. i'm not pretty sure about your question, hope that's a reply you want!!! ^^
@merecraft : Great work!!! I really like the atmosphere you got in your scene!!!
My Chupacabra composition. I think i have to work on the shadow a bit but i was having trouble trying to figure out how it would fall on dust clouds like that!
I did a little update to this. It was a test to see how decent I could make it look if I had a ton of time. After a while I felt it started just changing instead of really improving.

The bag has been retopo’d and unwrapped for my 'on the side' character, there’s no specular map as of yet but I think the bake came out nice.
enjoy!

I also started my portfolio site last night. Most of the images are just whatever art dump I had laying around just to get the feel of the site right.

Everything is still very WIP, such as the ceiling, walls and some props/FX.

@WarrenMarshall: Thanks! I think you're right about corrugated steel. Need to try that a bit smaller when I've some spare time.
@Elementrix: Thats fresh! love it
@ Bigjohn: Thanks
@ Elementrix: Wow, that's looking really nice.
