Here are some experiments i did last night. Turns out clipping my acoustic bass the fuck out sounds super heavy.
@JasonLavoie - Thanks man! That was a few years ago now. I was the older of the four at the ripe old age of 20. At the time, the others were 18/19. That was back in 2006 though!

That ones def my fav! Does anyone make anything thats sort of "Epic Hero" type stuff? Like the new Halo 4 piece? Especially the epic beats starting at 1:27! If you do i would love to hear it!
Daft Punks sample magic is my main influence, but I've tried a few other styles (8-bit, synthpop). My recent stuff is mostly sampled. It's actually pretty difficult to find suitable samples to chop up that aren't just "loop, drumbeat, sidechain"
Thanks TeeJay The randomness is added by lots of short notes. The first half goes like this:
The sound in the beginning is just a sampled ney instrument, I think you get it for free when you get FL Studio. It is coupled with/replaced by IL Harmor Synth in the later parts.
