I'd like to mention that I created an cinematic ambient track. It's released under the basic attribution creative commons license so you're free to use it however you wish in whatever commercial or non-commercial project.

Very nice Teotsin! Very Tyler Bates at the start, particularly reminds me of the 300 soundtrack in parts. When the beat kicks in becomes more Fifth Element with hints of Dark Knight. Great Stuff, look forward to more!

Great thread as well. I've been meaning to post my stuff here but I was waiting till I have a more finished piece to post. Which I am currently working on atm.

Anyhoo, I've been messing about with Renoise doing some synthpop. The plugins I use mainly are Sylenth1 (demo, hense watermark in test1), reFX Vanguard, Diachi synth1. Here's 3 example of what I have so far. All very amateurish, but its great fun. I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative creative outlet. I'll try and get something more substantial posted soon (if skyrim allows it)

I love making beats, and am somewhat of a gear obsessive when it comes to hardware. I haven't tried any orchestral/sound design stuff but it's on the list of things I want to do.

Just messing with sampling a lot at the moment, deciding whether to buy an MPC or Maschine.

Okay I'll bite. Made a couple of things back when I did Music Tech for an A-Level, so that'about 5 years ago now. It's mostly working on a pc putting it in MIDI, but some of them involved using a 16 track recorder. All the PCs and technology were way out of date, I wouldn't say older than me but I think they had them before 2000. Anyway this one required mostly MIDI tracks but with a live instrument and a live voice, and no-one around was a singer (only like 8 of us did the A-level too), luckily my dad got the lead singer of his band round for an hour to record the voice at home.

I have some skill at Tracker, but unfortunately, when it comes to composition, I'm a no good transcribing bastard. Because of that I don't want to post examples since it's not original music, and my original music stinks of 1987 anyway.

well i no longer have my masters to any of these tracks a sideeffect of me being verry unorganized in my early days of recording. you can do what you can with that shitty mp3 quality if you like. i think i'll prob re record it soonish see can i do better.

Thanks The whistle is mainly made in Harmor. The breath/blowing sound comes from Poizone's noise generator(in the Balance part of the interface).
