Also, I recently dodged a bullet and saw this last guy coming from a mile away. The whole "company" was a Facebook group, he used the word "Sony" like Oniram's guy used "Epic", and his lead concept artist couldn't provide me with sample arts because his work wasn't "uploaded to a computer". He constantly bragged about how his team was "world famous" and the game was "going to change the way people play games", though the simplest backgroud research proved otherwise. I mention this because, even though he was lying to me and was trying to take advantage of me and several others, I simply said "No thanks" without calling him out on all the bullshit he was selling me. I wanted to soooo bad, but I'm glad I didn't.
This was an excellent read, and thanks to Oniram for sharing the experience

The reason I posted that is to show if they want to duplicate a character, mob, scenes and spend 10k hours on it, seriously they better be making a fucking master piece of crysis 2 (which already is epic) but what you get in the end is a crappy looking character, fucked animationm, mob that doesnt move at all. The only good part in that game play is the lightning, and thats pretty easy in UDK.

I find Snake Takes' existence completely absurd, but completely believable. The sucky reality is that there are people out there so stubborn and foolhardy to sink thousands of worthwhile dollars into damned fairytales, and even more disappointing that they take bamboozled kids down with them.
