Yep. Well i uploaded the Bear Brawlers Bulwark successfully. But after i was done with uploading the Iron Curtain it just returned me to the upload page without any confirmation or anything. Does that mean it went through?
Theres no way i can fit world model and view model textures in 2mb. Any suggestions? Squeezed the shotgun through, literally, scaled the textures too. But this is proving too hard. Just leave tga's maybe?

I just uploaded world model and texture, my viewmodel was terrible anyway. Had to squeeze the texture to about 3 layers too.
My suggestion - Email Robin and explain the situation, and ask him what your options are. As long as you've submitted something, even if it's a slightly crappier version, they'll let you fix things after the deadline.
I sent him an email, hopefully il be able to submit the files later. Gonna do a promo now, wanted to do WAR style promo with in game shots but i cant pose in gmod for life. Just gonna do modelviewer stuff photoshoped with some backdrops.
So apparently you can upload refined textures/additional animations/ammo models and such after the deadline, so if you can get everything under the file size limit, you can re-upload.
Real awesome Promo Buck. Yeah, I'm in the same boat sort of. I kind of rushed a halfassed promo image last night and I just now redid them for my entry.
It's too late now but I just thought of a pretty cool way to have face shadows on the bear helmet, you could have put a flat sheet between the edge of the inside of the mask and the Heavy's face and just stuck an alpha-mapped "shadow" texture on it so it would darken the heavy's face without hiding it.
Just a thought for a later improvement if you win.
OH GOD, I laughed so hard when the promo said "Siberia, the Sahara, and WALES" seeing my birthplace labeled as a "harsh environment" was almost as pleasing as seeing that you kept "the Battering Buckshot" as the name for the shotgun...thank you
Might be the best fake update page. One thing, though, is you didn't get to see the rail on top of the shotgun in the update page and that was the most unique feature along with the bandoleer.

I thought of that for a hat once, then I decided that due to the alpha sorting issues introduced in Source when any part of a non-flat object texture is $translucent, it wasn't worth it. Sure you could add a second sheet but that wouldn't efficient at all. Also, it would look a little odd when it fell off his head from certain angles.
This is my absolute favorite out of all the entries. But I'm hoping these aren't just reskins, because they're the most useful looking things I've ever seen

Seriously, great work. I'm glad to see this complete.
what the hell are you talking abou... OH SHIT IT"S ON THE *dies*
Count your way down the alphabet. It's a simple numeric substitution.
that's the easy part, the hard part is wear you get the numbers in the FIRST place.
It's on the side of the ammo box on the minigun.
Just like an Easter Egg.
However, eating this secret will not make your dog sick. :-)
I use .tga files. I think that will be fine.
The serial number on the side of the ammo box reads 'B' followed by those numbers.
If you substitute each number for its corresponding letter in the alphabet, you get 'U', 'C', 'K'. Put them together and you get 'Buck'.

I didn't know they were there until I was told, either.
Your skin is amazing!!!
Spectacular!
If it doesn't get implemented (a VERY unlikely circumstance) could you post the files here or something .
