why does it need custom animation? if it looks good already with the default anims you shouldnt feel the need of making new ones.
it's a pocket knife, the original is a butterfly knife, as I said before the standard animations DO NOT work, I mean serious clipping, and weird looking.
Well, I think I'm done here. After so many posts, ideas and nights the contest comes to a close. I don't think I'll win considering the other great entries, but this contest gave me some valuable knowledge in modeling, design, implementation and animation. Your feedback and support was a novelty to me, considering the harsh wastes of gaming forums I've been on, and for that I give you a big, lovely Thank You!
Yea, the front stab looks a bit too gentle to hurt anyone. So just a few changes to the animations and your done with the knife, I really hope this one wins for the Spy.
I don't like how the knife is positioned near the middle of the screen, should be more in the corner, otherwise it's ok.
Also the non-backstab attack should be more of a "stabbing" or "slashing" motion, but not kind of like lightly pressing the side of the blade to the enemy.

I think the arm may be too high though, when the full spy arm comes out it looks like we're viewing it from Spy's belly button.
