Besides, fake specs or not, I do believe that Blizzard will make sure that this game will run on laptops and medium pcs without a problem.. I simply love playing Starcraft when im on the road in a train and I got my laptop with me (yes, I do always bring a mouse and a little board for my lap)
Got to give this a go at my buddies, the music is awesome, love the terran themes! The new tier one units are also pure win: stalkers, roaches, revears. Super cool units that are tons of fun at all levels of the game, mad props to blizzard for adding awesomeness to all the races from the get go but not destroying the winning formula.
If anything makes this game more kick ass it's the new level of micromanagement the new units bring, not just tier one: regen, teleport, cliff climbing, totally awesome.
Rufuss,
HDStarcraft's ::correction all of his games::, great examples of what not to do. The fact that he wins is just sad! Both party's playing sucked balls, not building air defense, building super units with out support units... So many major tactical flaws! ...Must watch more...
I've been in the Beta for about 3 weeks now so I have played my heart out and I won't be on nearly as much anymore. If anyone wants to hop on my account for an hour or two, I don't mind, just PM me!
Hm, I wanted to try and sign up after creating a BNet account but it seems I need to have played a Blizzard game on the account. Merge my WoW account with Battle Net perhaps?

I thought all WoW players have been required to merge their WoW account with a Battle.net account as of a few months ago?
Grats. Do you know if it was your system specs or just luck?
I'm not an old school SC1 player, wasn't even old enough to play it but I have been looking into SC2 for months now and it looks awesome.
hahahah. As much as i hate losing over and over, its great so far. Can tell there is a lot of balance left to iron out, but visually its really great (cept for the protoss UI... wtb cool UI like Zerg and Terran!)
Awesome game, lives up to expectations so far! So much fun to play, I think it only requires balance work to become the best RTS ever and one of the best games ever made.
By the way... preordering StarCraft II doesn't do shit and it doesn't matter how many or what games you have on your Battle.net account for the StarCraft II opt-in as long as you have a game. (WoW Trial does not count)
Having good fun playing a few games before bed each night, peaked at 8th in the gold ladder so far (Or is 45th in platinum better? I'm confused with the ladder setup).
Q. Are you guys still working on the Map Editor; and if so, what features are you planning to incorporate into the final piece?
A. Yes. We're still working on the Map Editor and currently working on the publishing system. We intend to release an early version of the editor during the beta so the map-making community can get a head start creating their own maps. This is going to be a stretch for us to pull off, but our hope is to get it out before the end of April.
zacD, "as stretch for us"...... have you ever known blizzard to do ANYTHING fast? we will wait... and we`ll do it with a smile. because we all know it will be well worth the wait.
although, judging by the videos ive seen of the editor so far... it looks SIIIIIIIICK!
Yeah, something like less than 1% of people got one (not the friend keys, got invited into the beta that signed up), I think they are doing the friends thing so more people do 2v2 and people play more, its boring when you don't know anyone in the beta.
According to EB games, SC2's release date might get postponed....lol its kinda funny I walked in to the game store bought 2 games and left without reserving the SC2...happened 2ice to me

do it. DOO ITTTT
UnoWut??? I'll just pre-order and hope they provide me with the keyss..this isnt funny anymore
It runs on my laptopm. It runs great.

My friend at blizz just got me a SC2 Beta Key!
OWNAGE!
Now FEEL THE WRATH OF MY CHEAPSAUCE KOREAN TACTICS!!!
MAUAAA HA HA HAHAAA
Too bad they balanced out my patented SCV rush. Wayy too powerful and cheap.
A Blizzard fairy must have graced me with a key. Thanks

I've done it all now and sent in my specs via beta opt-in program.
Where the hell is my key?
I would think of them more as Gods. Lol.
Yar, I await my key too

Custom content has me excited.

Don't know whether that's true or not.
To be fair, the entire population of Korea signed up, so that 1% is still a lot of people :P
*only if this kinda stuff is allowed on the forums :P* Otherwise I won't give it away.
