Oh wow what a battle between boxer in game one! i shouted YEAH! and then disconnect lols, still awarded the win. now its 1 - 1 going to game 3 and there are 33K watchers.
Yeh great matches, im kinda make everything with boxer more exciting for me only because I have been his fan for so long (SC1) so its my home team kinda guy that im rooting on. Really cool to see him in SC2 now aswell.
Anyone still playing? just got a new comp and ive been fiending it again. im not very good. gold leage, mostly. plat for 4v4. but if anyone wants to add me to their friends, im punish ( 188 )
I've only caught a few random games this MLG and will probably watch more once they put up the VODs. Any game cast by Husky or Day[9] is just amazing to watch. But when they cast together, shit just got serious!
I just like Husky's nerdy sense of humour and he really gets excited when things heat up and you can just hear him lose all control and talk a million words a second trying to cast the action. It's hilarious.
But Day[9] on the other hand, I love watching his solo casts because he gets REAL tech with it and will break down strats to their core.
I have a few more hours before my flight, so I might try and squeeze in watching a quick game or two.
I quite like Husky for what he is (a quite funny and nice hyperactive caster) but I've started to stray away from his casts because I can't take how inaccurate he is and how little he seems to know about the pro aspects of starcraft. He's just saying what's happening on the screen and every now and then freaks out about how a probe is moving or a pylon on the map.
And I think it's quite lame of him to register new accounts and post videos where he stomps people in bronze league. I mean, really? Where's the fun in that?
I prefer watchin Day or just looking at the pro's own streams at teamliquid.net really.
But yeah, MLG. Sweet. I wish Jaedong was playing Sc2 though :<

so, how do you guys think the zerg expansion will affect the ladder? will there be tons of more zerg? its hard to tell. i think some more ppl will switch to it, cuase the campaign will teach them to play, but i feel alot of people will stick with their favourite race.
Im interested in all the evolving and stuff of the zerg in the campgain. its gonna be amazing!
im currently playing through the campaign again, for the third time, to get all the achievements. well, im beating it on normal again, then gonna pla each mission on brutal.
I currently play as a Diamond Zerg. My crowning achievement was beating a Master Terran in Season 2 the one and only time I got matched up against a Master.
Unfortunately I haven't had much time to play in Season 3, so I seem to have regressed a bit. When I hop on to play these days, I find myself struggling to stay in Diamond League. The skill level of all the Leagues keeps increasing.
Masters terran in every bracket at the start of s2/Diamond zerg - Doubt i'll ever play it again after reaching a point where by i'd need to study replays and note down times to really stay competitive.
Still, i got a good sense of how the game ticks though, which is what i wanted.
Yeah go Idra! I'm a bit angry at husky for being quite immature in his commenting with all the "oh lets see if he rages" and "I can't believe idra keeps missing these really fundamental upgrades" all the time.I dunno, maybe it's just me that picked up on those things but Day9 kept it more classy imho. Anyway, I'm excited to see who wins
and I'm sad to see bomber get knocked out, I like both him and idra
Yeah, the casting dynamics are half the interest, love 'em or hate 'em. Watching these pro gamers try to rise the ranks is only half of it, I don't know if people realize how important getting the right casters is to this sport, and seeing the best of the best in spectating and commentating is possibly even more competitive than the actual game. It's like routing for 2 teams at the same time.
There is some amazingly strong talent in starcraft e sports, i hope it pays off for them in the long run, it certainly seems like they're having fun in the meantime.
DJ Wheat's one of my favorites, he can supplement anyone and has no ego whatsoever, just makes any game good times. Artosis is pretty damned good too, i think the most professional caster out there and puts up very well with tasteless's crazy casting style.
I find Husky to be a horrible caster, there are some things that he says no matter what really happens in the game. (making at some times confusing)
When Idra got quite a bit of marines with some banelings
Husky: ''the tanks were able to clean that up'', no, the marines cleaned it up with their face!
The marines cleans this up, idra wins.... gah just let me enjoy the game!
So how do people feel about the new units? Personally I'm sad to see the carrier go (again), even as a zerg player. I feel it's quite an iconic unit for the race. That new replicator thing also seem completely bonkers. I'm afraid what this is going to do to the professional scene.
The replicator is so expensive it only seems good in a pinch situation, I'm excited for the zerg flying caster and the grappling hook spell, I had that idea for a unit at the beginning of sc2, I feel it will really help the swarm feel and breaking defenses.
gah imagine protoss with replicators being made into broodlords!
I just saw the finals of GSL and watched the entire blizzcon starcraft event this weekend. So awesome! Look at the crowd for the finals! I have never seen anything quite like it!

Replicators can't do massive units, such as collosi, broodbords, bc's, etc.

Tasteless + Artosis goofiness is fun too
Korean domination doesn't seem as bad, I feel like foreigners are playing on the korean servers more. SHETH FIGHTING

i play zerg already, but i suck at ZvZ. if there are more of them at my level, thats gonna suck. lol
I bet for zerg, it will be either lurkers, scourges, or raptors. The new lings you can get in the campaign, that leap into battle.
