GCMP, usually there is a smooth portion (no rifling) at the breech end of the barrel, where the case sits. The rifling only starts further in, where the bullet actually starts. The smooth bit would be at the larger diameter (or the diameter of the casing.)
Actually, I think it's based off of one of Paul Steed's Doom characters?
Hmm, it seems to have a absolute lack of geosphere boobies, so I'm going to hazard it's not a STEED original. And, yes, his name is spelled in all caps.
Cool SVD-U
The polymere parts looks somewhat olive to me, whereas they should be black.
Some minor inaccuracies i noticed, such as the frontcap of the pso scope.
the pipe is a bit too thick and actually has the same turn/clip closure thingy like the battery cap at the back of the scope
might wanna add some horizontal streaks on the cockinghandle/bolt as its a frequently moving part. it also shouldnt look THAT worn, its usually a flat polished part.
at first i thought she is Jane Starling from "Ghost Pirates Of Vooju Island" but ive seen there are a lot of differences. nice work!
personaly i think you should make the chin thinner to get some kind of 'Kate Moss'-look. oh and more tits please ;-)
UDK. Not doing much tweaks on materials just yet. Just wanted to do a quick emissive-render test. First pass textures as well. Working in quick iterations brushing things up as I go.
Max with more popping materials.
Oh and this will be in it (It's the Really. Obediant. Butler-model. Call him Rob.)... among other... things....
At last! I got a Wacom tablet yesterday, And Im Starting to Practice with it (I never used one in my life) ive ben sculpting with mouse xD soo this is my first attempt at Sculpting with a tablet.

Hi Res complete and only tweaks to the Normal map remain before I start texturing. Comments and crits are appreciated...especially before I start texturing
awesome rifle, but from memory i think the cylinder has a larger radius and a slightly different shape
I think what you're seeing is that the cylinder I modeled is a 5 shot whereas what you have in mind might be a 6. A colleague said the same thing. I might create a 6 shot just to remove the confusion.

Thanks for the information, I'll be sure to make those changes after all the greebling/small stuff is done:thumbup:

Awesome Zbrush work, too, oobersli.
I blame the HDRI or the reflection, the geometry is smooth though.
almost done need a few more details here and there and i got to redo the rotor wich are not good looking...
any critic is welcome
LOL I thought this was in response to the dildo at first!
Also, Dado that's fucking sick yo. Can't wait to see more!
Got back on the gun and made a bit of progress...
love it
Don't need to say much.
Did this to try to get my painting mojo flowing. I kinda like it, even though it turned out meh-ish..
I'm pretty new to modeling, but I have been working on this.
Getting this out of the sketchbook!
Looks like there might be a little seam along his traps though?

I might get him 3d printed if it turns out nice
Heres a simple caster weapon that I made over the past day. Thats right, its a book, run for your life .
naw, its my own design loosely based on the artwork by kenneth scott like i said.
but thanks for the replies

Nice. I REALLY wish someone would make a decent PC Dragon's Lair. The only one I ever found was windowed mode locked at 320x640.

man, this animation took forever. The moving hold still don´t work and the punchline at the end is still not defined
Almost done for the high-res I think.
From a Block, around 2 hours of modeling.
