achmed - cool stuff that is! is if for something specific?
endomi - looks great, polypainted or not :P
hal - !! nice one, been wanting to do one of those for a while now, keep posting!
muzz - nice start! i would call it done anxious to see it finished
simmo - good choice! finish stuff and move on! much more satisfying!
kharn - nice start. There was a post from kevin johnstone a while ago that milky textures work best with lightmass, not really sure exactly what else he posted about it, but it might be worth to look up his threads (they're worth looking up anyways : )
Looks pretty nice. I know youre trying to follow the concept to the T, but those inward rectangular bevels are kinda boring. Some things just dont translate that well/cool from concept>3d.
This warrants its own thread i must say, youve got some work ahead of you
yeah I do agree on that. They look "ok" in the concept, but they give me the impression they are a bit forced, I`ll dare to say that even a flat surface well textured might look better. You can think of small compartiment doors or something like that might look good. If not modeling, follows well the concept. Keep on!
Wow, great looking scene Warren. Will they be put into a game engine eventually?
sahib, maze: Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I was trying to follow the concept, but the bevels aren't that great on the model as you've pointed out. I figure if I make the concept, it's much easier to make changes that fit the design, which isn't really a strength of mine.
I'll play around with it some more.. maybe make the indent as long as the case? I'll start a post as you suggested sahib!

Yes, actually i'm working with a small group of developers that are making a game and would like to use it im abit worried about law suits that can be bring being a very famous game but its a risk im willing to take haha i've always wanted to walk around midgar and some of my models in 3d and stuff.
Thanks =] . Pales in comparison to your canvas stuff, but I try to make due Kinda have a theme of a chick with a shark bite(my friend is a bit infatuated with sharks, and wants it incorporated into the design in 1 way or another).
Dude I've tried doing artwork for friends' bands, and lets just say I've moved in other, less disastrous directions since then. It's harder to do a solid screen-printable design than most people think. That linework is badass and reminds me of a few mean punk rock tshirt designs I've seen. Smooth chicas + skeletons is tough to pull off and oh-so-hot when you do. Definitely post up that final design when it's done.
Jesse, it might be a good idea to use a RGB channel texture for your spec, spec mask and variation, having 3 textures in one map could make it a bit more efficient. looks like there are lots of options for that material, should prove pretty versatile.
cat's got mad peripheral vision, now
med: Nice start man. reminds me a lot of Charles Burns
ferg: so nice, love the colours
blackula: neat design, looking forward to more
Credit where credit is due, the face is pope Gregory XV's (as immortalised by Bernini).

I'm genuinely baffled at getting compliments for 2D; I completely screw up when I have to make something from the top of my head, so I do thought I'd practice by copying to maybe one day get good enough to partake in the Concept Tag. That's where the good artists are.
Still mucking around in zbrush. Started with some zspheres here, I'll do some retopology soon with this since it's something I should probably learn to do.
that looks like the stupidest animal in the world neox.
phew and i thought i was strange when people told me that its cute, when i saw the overpaint by one of our concepters Artur, i thought its the most retared looking thing ever :poly142:
small cleanup update, not sure i spend that much more time with it, as its pretty small in game and doesn't move a bit

Little design I'm doing for a friends band.

bawss challenge. meh.
Waw ! Moare, We want Moare
Just starting to tighten up forms and correct anatomy, but nothing is close to being polished yet.
Has some major issues right now and some stuff going on that i'm fixing but figured i would share anyways.

Yeah already updated it with that after fixing a few other things that were bugging out.
But thanks for the heads up.
Slave_one... glad ya like it... def more to come.

Very cute Neox!
(not saying your art is bad. I'm saying the intelligence of that animal appears to be very very low.)

Anyway, have another quickie pope:
Been working on this, basing it on a celebrity.
Trying to see if I can sculpt a hooded vest and an army cap to get a better likeness.
Any tips on modeling caps are appreciated
me too.
Darkknight - those are some pretty big ears

Rendered in Unity ... 2*1024 textures
Was going for something along these lines ...
I keep getting ugly smoothing groups around this area and I'm not sure how to get rid of them.
You mean the ones on the top or the ones towards the handle?

that cat is PHAT lol
fatcat
eyes are pointing forward and sitting well above the nose and a lot closer together
assuming you go for the head-up-pose you still should put the eyes closer together.. looks good from side view
Tail looks a bit odd. Normally, if a cat's tail is big 'n fluffy, it would either start smaller and get bigger near the end or it'd be uniform.
