Have been developing games for 12+ years as a 3D/technical artist, level builder, designer. Have often found myself at polycount posts over the years and thought it was about time I signed up.
I'm a full time student studying the game development pipeline with an emphasis as an environmental artist. I've been a long time browser of the site and have finally decided to join and give my own feedback and ask my own questions. I'm also the Creative Director and co-owner of a video production Something Else Productions.
I look forward to learning and growing with everyone.
Hello, I'm Chris and I'm interested in Game Design and have been for some time now. Generally my ideas come when I'm trying to sleep which takes up to 2 hours because I'm usually coming up with good ideas.
Hi, glad to be accepted as a member. My area of expertise is creating content for the virtual world of Second Life and I've notched up several years experience. Is there anyone in the Polycount community that is active in this area?
I am a final year Games student at a University in England. I try to be an all rounder with respect to 2D, 3D and coding, but lean heavily towards sculpting and animation (rigging, etc) - with the express intent of not becoming a Jack of all trades and master of none.
I have found much inspiration on these forums in the past and have finally decided to share some of my work with your generous community.
Will anyone read this? I don't know Am activating my account. Great site, hope to be posting some work and hiring some freelancers for occasional paid work:thumbup:
