Hello, I am a student of Masters in Design and game programming in 3D Tooning School in Toledo Spain, my teacher told me that in this forum you treat newcomers well, so here I expect you to help me improve with your feedback.
This looks like a great community! I have gotten lots of useful information just from lurking the forums, so I thought I would join to see if i can learn even more and contribute!
27y/o, digital artist, developing 3d skills and interested in the tricks of the trade for game art.
I am a modeler just starting out and heard from one of my instructors that this place i a great one to get feedback and help on my work. I look forward to seeing all the great things on this site and adding my own!
Hi everyone, Im Javier (a.k.a Smokeowl) from Colombia. I am a self taught 3D artist, I have been working in some indie companies from my country and decided thats its time to get further in the videogame industry.
About me:
I'm a senior designer with focus on kids content, casual games and user experience, from seattle, looking to learn the ins and outs of modeling for games. I have some experience with cinema 4d, modeling and rendering for promotional pieces and user interface. I also have years of experience in flash design and animation. I'm now starting to learn more about modeling for game environments, props, and characters. I'm a newbie to that whole department, but I really want to learn. I'm taking classes in 3ds max now, and its going well! I'll be posting things soon! Can't wait for all the harsh critiques! I am hoping I can gain the knowledge to make a transition into the console/pc game industry at some point, and take my current skillet with me!
