I'm a long time lurker visiting from CryDev.net. I am the leader of the news team over there and I'm always on the look-out for good CryEngine work to feature on our front page to get attention from the CryDev community and Crytek'ers.
If we like your stuff, we will of course shoot you an email, asking you if it's alright to feature you on our front page.
My main expertise is level design in the CryEngine, been doing that for a good 5 years. I occasionally branch into other ares like modeling in max and sculpting in Mudbox, as well as 2D stuff in PS, Illustrator and InDesign.
I'll start making my own post soon, I'm planing in participate on the character design contest. but it says that first I have to make a post so I can participate, so I'm on it. have a nice day everyone
Hello world, I'm Melissa Fionda, a games art student currently at the university of Teeside, specialising in character modelling - Always looking for work experience or internships!
I'm new the artistic side of development and still working on my programming degree, but I'd like to spread my wings and be able to do a little everything and see what I like best. I hope I can learn as much as possible from the community and give as much back if I'm able.
hi im just starting and i think this is the best place to start learn and grow, im not ashamed to call myself a noob as everybody started as one, but im here to advance to the next level.
I am a PC gamer who loves game art and the medium as an art form. I have started playing Dota 2 and the workshop inspired me to learn it me creation. I am halfway through the Hacker guide provided by one of workshop designers and felt that I need a lot of ground work to learn. Still, it gave me the feeling about the process required toget such work done.
One thing for sure, I found it interesting and would love to up my skills further and hope that this is the venue to do so.
I wrote a lot of stuff but my mobile browser was being not itself so the post didn't get through. Basically I am an absolute beginner. Emphasis on absolute. I started going through the popular hacker tutorial in Dota 2 workshop and my interest has peeked and therefore would love to improve my skills.
Hello all of you. Finally I registered to this amazing community! Thanks Adam for making those detailed rules. My english is basic but I suppose it's not a problem for techy stuff.
I want to learn environment creation for games.
