Hello all, I am here to learn more about 3d designing for games. We are making an indie game and hope to learn more from others who had done this before.
Hello !
I'm B4mBe, studiying games engineering, playing too much dota, and producing music in my free time
This seems like THE place to learn about the technical skills, so, here we go :P
Hy everyone in this top forum, I really love it.
My name is fed and I came from the world of the drawing and the animation.
I´ll try to do something to show around here that deserved that.
Hey everyone! I'm a modeling and texturing guy who's been away from it for a bit and I could use some help getting my skills back up to snuff and this seems like the perfect place.
Hi all, just joined today. Recent graduate, just started my first proper job a year ago. The work here is awesome, a huge inspiration to me in my pursuit of "being better"
I want to quickly introduce myself. I am Jake, right now a struggling artist in college. Haha I am currently studying both aspects of the video game, as in art and design. I am hoping to be able to work in a big company, or heck if I can succeed with killer fish I would be a happy camper. Although one day I plan on making a company based solely for edutainment. Although that is a later project to undertake. My most current project... Well truthfully it is to understand the software, get a grip on coding and scripting, and make concept art for my game idea. I am developing a story and theme for the game currently. It is very small and in the barely started stages.
Anyways, a little about me more personally. I love to read a good book, or to go and enjoy nature. Snowboarding is a favorite hobby, I have recently been getting decent at it even. I have a rather large taste for music and enjoy to divulge myself into the music. I am not very musical however, the best I can do is drum a simple and bad beat lmao.
I hope to get to know you all much better. I am a pretty laid back and optimistic guy. Also... Very weird.:poly142: Feel free to send me a message or whatnot for really any reason. I rather enjoy getting to know people.
Hello Polycount,
I am a soon to be Graduate Games Design BSc student currently looking for full time work. I was recommended this website as a good place to make connections.

Salutations. I very much doubt that any of the readers are old enough to have heard of me; many years ago I was a big shot game design guy. I founded the Game Developers Conference, published 14 games, wrote some books on game design, and gave a lot of lectures. My primary role in the industry has been to serve as the Prophet in the Wilderness preaching fire and brimstone if the industry doth not leave the path of creative sinfulness and cleave to creative righteousness (meaning something new and different). I have been failing to get interactive storytelling working for 20 years now. I am here looking for an artist to help with a highly unconventional (hell, just plain weird) game I'm working on.
Hi! I'm Boudewijn Rempt, I'm the maintainer of Krita, an open source 2D painting application that is pretty good :-). At least, I think so, I've been working on it for close on ten years now.
Hello Everyone. I am a student in Simulation & Game Development at Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, NC and I am getting ready to graduate. I'm excited for the possibilities that await, but am also always learning (How to do anything, How to improve at anything, how to avoid doing some things...) It's always a learning process. I look forward to learning from the vast knowledge base of everyone that is a Polycount member.
Greetings internet!
We are a small independent team working on our first game: a sci fi drama that's like a mix of Heavy Rain, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mass Effect.
We're hoping to get aquainted with the people on Polycount as they are an incredibly talented bunch and we could use some help!
Thanks for your time internet users!
