How do you guys feel about the color selection as well as color placement to my model. I was looking around victorian architecture and the way color is placed on wooden elements corresponds with how i am doing it but i wonder if theres too much going on and the detail will be lost.
JO420, I think that's fine, the small gold trims are definitely very Victorian, although I would lighten up the red a bit, it's so dark you can't see any of the larger forms or details.
Bloody awesome stuff here guys! As always;)
Renaud- you was, you are, and you will be one of my fauvorite artist around here. Every piece from you is kickass!
Sandro -i really like the proportions and face, but i think ears could use somemore work:)
awesome mvelasquez!
Just he pose looks weird, should it look like shes jumping? Maybe bend it less to the back and do more with the arms then. Hair would also look much better if it goes with the motion.
like the white trim on the pants. yea the pose is strange but somehow fitting for the character, she has wierd poses like that in the show, might wanna pick another for the folio tho
trying to finish everything else before going into the drivetrain.
Got a question though - see the circled areas? It's a square face blending into a cylinder. How do I set the smoothing groups for it? Tried a bunch of stuff but none of them seem to look right.

Ok, so im trying to paint a concept for a sort of fat, orcish warlord, getting a little bit better with my tablet naw!!
Probably should have started with the face, heh. Will show more soon. Also going to make the body less bland, add some tattoos, straps etc etc.

@Hal
Reminds me of the Crysis suit but a bit more ropey... what sort of design were you going for?
Oh yeah inspiration was molotov/crysis kind of obvious ^^
Slow fletch is slow!
More ran-dumb sculpting. This time about 2.5-3 hours. Gotta get faster.
I should practice some head sculpts, haven't done any in ages
After some lurking I decided it's time to join and post something. This thread is awesome.
