Tons of outrageously good work in this thread! I'm super impressed with the rise in quality around here.
Anyway, I have not been working too much on 3d stuff, however I just dipped my fingers into ZB again.
Here's a mutant head, I figure it's something like a merchant, designed on the same vein of the whole Rage/Borderland desert post-apocalypse style. I'm thinking of expanding on a body, so we'll see what happens with that.
@Electro, that's funny man. It sucks though, it looks like you're going to upstage my turtle. :P
@TumerBoy, When I posted my Base mesh earlier I was tossing up between making the turtle like the new film, or more like the cartoon. I opted for more like the cartoon, and actually a bit more like something you'd see in the new Clone Wars cartoon. I really like that angular look, and I wanted to do something different to what we've already seen in the turtles in 3d.
He is a bit top heavy though, I like the proportions up top though. I might make the legs a bit bigger, I think that will balance it out.
Started this last Sunday. This is number two of three mini scenes to have done by the time PAX rolls around. Space Station Brothel/Strip Club Entrance. Still some minor tweaks.
Ha ha ha, I'm digging it man. I think I would have liked to see some of the areas fleshed out more (or... more environment to look at) but it is pretty cool, funny as well
Been forgetting to post this one in here. Almost done with all the modeling, just need to figure out where am I gonna put this one for a setting. Suppose to be an abandoned store that a cheap-stake bough and made into a tavern. Still deciding which parts are going to be new, walls and the ceiling usually last longer so probably just gonna be the doors that are new and the sign.
Mere hours after the unveiling of Cataclysm the concept art really got to me, and now im drawing a worgen of my own, coming along nicely, trying to not make the same skewing errors i made with the last one, and taking on the shapes a bit more carefully:
Looking good, Jon. One thing though is that with the torso you currently have and the pose you have planned for the feet, I feel that he should be standing upright, kind of like he is confident. Either way, looks sweet .
That's pretty freaking sweet, HntrLuc. I absolutely love the face. You captured the style extremely well. I'd suggest thickening up her limbs just a teensy bit; she's got slightly chunkier, curvy proportions in the concept.
Getting my creative gears cranking creating this pillar and thinking of a cool environment to build around it. This is only the top piece, working on lower now:

I've been mucking about with my game's Cutscene editor as always.

Just need to fix up the AI quirks and get the objectives system finished for the soon-to-be-released demo
poostayn: Looks cool, but that pose could be a little more dynamic.
7350 tris, 2k test bake. (hands not sculpted yet)
thats beautiful work
love it!
Here's my turtle sculpt so far.. I need to add on some more details, but the character itself is mostly done.
There's a bit of pinching at the back of the shell.. I probably should have expected that, but oh well.
Thoughts?
Still very wip though
I really liked the style of the turtles in the last (3d animated) movie:
I like how lean they feel, while still retaining their turtleness.
I feel like the new animated show has them as a little too buff. But the style is still better than the old show:
here's my rough mesh
Agreed, great work man.

// EDIT 3: Image Removed //
Started working on a next gen model of Marc (bluefley) Brunet's http://www.cghub.com/images/view/23225/page:1 "Blanche" character.
Here's the zbrush with a bit of hasty polypaint.
edit: you too HntrLuc
praetus- Really liking the visual style of the whole scene!
HntrLuc- Cool design, especially the jetpack.
Here's a tiling floor texture I did for a mod today.
... I wish I could do that.
hah. awesome work.
HntrLuc - awesome, I think you nailed it, lovely mix of curves and hard angles *saving to inspirations folder*
HntrLuc> wow!
.
i'm guessing he is punctured with arrows, but it reads as needles/twigs atm.
added a bit more armor, etc:
deleted the old pic to save some space, not a big leap in progress.
HntrLuc -> Love it
