did this yesterday in 5 hours. I ended up spending more time texturing the leaves than the body and I think it shows. I'd love to come back to it sometime and polish it up.
Decided to try to learn zbrush and sculpting again.
My sculpt is probably crappy, but someone might still get inspired or something
I am just amazed at all the cool models and sculpts that I just had to post.
Hopefully I will be placing more sculpts here cuz this are basicly stuff that I wont finish.
what exactly do we see here? the edge quality is really weird. is this some voxelbooled and smoothed mesh or is this a smooth edge shader? looks really odd to me, bumps where they make no sense to me, and highlights shifting shapes over their course
interesting how much better it looks once some reflections come into play, i would have thought the issues will be a lot more visible.
good stuff
just tested it myself, the blur value is what makes the edges look weird, somehow it raises the sharp corners instead of just rounding them off. which is what i think looked the weirdest on your cylinder model thingie
Yeah, the polishing in ZB tends to "depress" flat surfaces inward, you end up with inflated edges. I don't think there's a way around it sadly. But different settings / combinations of polishes, at different resolutions, tends to produce different results, some better than others at least
Hi all. First time posting here. I'm currently in the process of updating my portfolio and want to get some stylized characters in there. This is the character that I'll be working over the next couple of weeks and thought I'd get people's opinions, so any feedback is more than appreciated. This is the fist base sculpt, only trying to get proportions and over all feel.
Really need to get into the habit of posting a lot more!
Found a speed sculpt model I did a few weeks ago now alongside some friends during our deadline week, I think a rough polypainted version exists but I haven't found that one yet.
Overall pretty pleased considering how quick it took,
last night for practice of not modeling anything for so long i've modeled a random female manga figure it's terrible it has bad hands and topology don't look at this byproduct of a bored 3 hours
Hey guys ! Here is my stuff I am currently doing It is a storage room. It's a noob project might not came to life, but who knows. Hope you like it so far
Had a lesson where much wasn't going on, took the opportunity to try a few techniques id not tried before to get a good result, fast. I could have reduced the time substantially had i been more thoughtful earlier on, but now its on to the Low Poly

I did something very simple.
Shrink whole face area and then shrink additionally his eyes.
Then give him some fat on the side.
Also make ears, even basic flat spheres on the sides, just to see overall picture
I hope it look better and fix is super easy to do with masking face -> invert mask-> using scale tool.
Edit: Dont want to double post
