Holy crap man! Good luck packing all that awesome into 9k tris! But... how will the sexy skull tentacles see where they're going with those blindfolds on?
Awesome entry! You should try to tilt the angle of the tentacles, they seem to come out of the robe too 'vertical' if you know what I mean. It might be something personal but it kind of looks unnatural right now
Whew, here is the update for the lowpoly mesh, which has taken me longer than I wanted due to the large highpoly ( I got a tad carried away:P) At the moment I am at 8918 tris, where I will use those precious little ones left to help the silhouette and pose once I figure that out. Thanks to all that have commented in my thread, I would love to respond back, but the bed is calling:) Hmmm, couldn't edit my first post on page one to show the latest update? Any idea as to why would be apprecaited!
don't like how the normalmap came out, your high war just insane awesome, but the low is a little bit blurry hope you will be able to fix it with a nice texture!
Well i guess this is mostly because of the screenshots size, max mipmapping (which by the way pretty much sucks) and the missing specular.
i like what i see, can't wait for the textured version.
this is some sick work man. awesome execution. any chance we could see a bigger pic of the low with normals ? just so much detail in there that needs to be checked out
Your modeling is amazing, there is no doubt that less experienced modelers in future competitions will definitely look up to you to improve their skills. I know I sure will, the bar is sure set high to win this thing.
