Playing with my new gifted Kodak a few days after XMas while walking my dog. These are just random from a bunch of out of focus pictures of my dog, but I like the color of the sky.
There are alot of things you can not do with the cybershot, but its great to practice and it takes good pictures.
My brother had a cybershot, and i used it on a vacation for fun, but that fun ran out of hand.
I found it very interresting some how and started taking 100 pics a day that vacation.
A bit later i bought a real camera and im pretty much hooked since then.
Lots of posts in here recently, so I got jealous and grabbed some from my Royal Ontario Museum trip :P Which was me running around the place for 30 min while it was free admission before close snapping pics of dinosaurs as fast as I could. (So most turned out blurry and not great... )
A few I liked ok:
For the record, looking at dinsosaur bones with a more adult mind (last I was there I was probably still in elementary) kinda really blew my mind. I remember drawing cows thinking their bone structure is completely NUTSOS. But cows got nothing on these old bones...
What I wouldn't give to be able to sketch a few, live dinosaurs!! Darn them going extinct. (And hopefully they wouldn't eat me while I sketched them...)
Nice Cybershot pic, Rens Yeah, it's a good camera... but my price range wasn't really up for anything more epic than that one :P
First time oging out for street photography, and this is my second roll of film ever. These are the best from said roll. (I like the second one for it's curvy motion created by the flapping pigeons).
Zenit E with a Pentacon 50mm lens and Era 100 b/w film.
the quality is pretty nice, specialy because i shoot everything out of my hand, low shutter anyway, around 125 on 250mm i think.
the colors were only way to saturated and weird, that i had to desaturate or discard it... part fail i guess
there might be a connection between awww and food.
when i took the pick i was like awwwww,
when i took another, i started realising things.
while going back home i thought about, the poor guy not knowing what lays ahead of him.
when loading it into photoshop, i realised, his bodyparts might be sold trough out the whole country, or even beond.
when posting, that thought made me see him as food.
now im hungry..
now that i think about it, it might be time for happy thoughts,
he sure seems to enjoy the moment, think i will follow his example.
just a fun one, comp and everything went wrong, just like i missed the sunset itself, i kept driving around with my awesome bicycle, total time wast, because everywhere i went, there were buildings or other lame things infront of it
still need to check all the ones i have, should be a couple more that are better then this one, but ill have a look at those in a bit
i wanted to pick him up so badly for some reason, and i should have done a step more forward since he wanst going anywhere, but i think at that range i wouldn't have been able to focus
i still find it quite strange that i found a snakey snake there, but now that i know, i want more, will hunt him down!!
Very last picture of prague, inside the Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle. The picture is actually 3 individual pictures i stitched together to make this one huge panoramic. Sadly i didnt get a perfect straight on composition but its not to bad of a result.
and the chief!
had a figure standing, thought if give it a shot
also made a couple with my parents older nikon f50 of this comp,
i never really looked at it, so i thought id give it a try, but i need to wait till i finish the film, have 20 more shots to go on it, i think..
(analog)
these two pics are taken out of the hand, f1.8 and a shutter of 40
heres a quick setup XD

i guess the idea of the photo is fun, but the quality is extreemly bad.
i mostly dump my photos in a folder and never look at them again, though i keep a hand full on my website, www.rensedeboer.com
i inted to scrap 80% of the photos on there are replace them with better ones.
A nice pic of the old clock tower in Prague. Bought a neat little tripod for my DSLR called the gorrilapod which was great for taking night pics.
yup. i think it works for my purposes.. which is, well, just learning right now.
