Long time I haven't post anything ( years probably )
It was pretty calm at work those last days, so for once I decided to make something less progamming side than usual and I start to model a little idea I had some weeks ago.
Thanks Don; The proportion/anatomy is weak right now, i'll take your advice and some others have suggested about breaking away from symmetry and T-pose.
rooster, really interesting and powerful-looking design. I love how the clip works. I might have to, um, borrow that sometime..
Working on a new character. Not quite sure where to go with him from here, I don't want to risk overdoing him. Started from a heavily modified version of Arshlevon's baseman (such as having divided him into three parts, and cavities for mouth and eyes). Going to add some hair to him next as soon as I've sketched something that looks good.
Beaker? I should've spent more time on this, never really reached a good likeness as I quickly and sloppily mucked about and accidentally gave him almost a hi-top fade...
A little more progress. But I've been looking at the characters from Final Fantasy IV for the DS and there are some serious proportion changes between the two games. I'll keep going on in this direction though, and finish her up, and then decide if I want to go with the more realistic IV style for the model as opposed to III's pear-bodies.
Since I made a crapload of cars...I thought I should get one decent car finished and get rod of the rest on my site and just put them in one scene later on....
This one though I want to compliment it with a strong environment piece as background...perhaps a mechanical, industrial setting.
Also forgot to render the alphas as one sided...thus the artifact.

Ooh! I am liking the cut of his jib.
Have you considered playing with his proportion to maybe something like this?
or this?
