Ok just happened to me today. I edited the title of my post for Riot Illustraiton Contest 2017 and... It just dissapeared from the forums, nowhere to be seen. Anyone knows how to restore it or.. at least see if I can still use the "draft" version of that? (I still have the notifications, but all post are invisible).
I wanted to email the helpdesk email about my post being under approval for a few days, but the email address seems to not be active Any help with that?

Can you please post the exact error message you get?
The ads that scroll with the window currently overlap the page selection controls when scrolled to a certain point. More annoyingly, they often disappear, leaving an invisible frame over the control that will activate an ad when clicked.
Noticed an issue with being logged, ads, and the ability to use thread pagination
Logged in with the reply box being visible, if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, an invisible ad block is over the pagination making is impossible to use unless you scroll up 80px or so, to the point where the post reply button isn't visible.
This is present in both Chrome and Firefox, on OSX on a 13" macbook pro - with the effective resolution set at 1680x1050 (I know it's not a standard resolution, but it's the scaled resolution on a retina macbook).
Polycount is whitelisted in my adblocker, and I see there are two ad blocks on the right of the page - the first ad is fine, and behaves normally, and doesn't do anything weird. The second ad however is very suspect - I think you may want to review who is using that space.
Considering the ad is only occasionally displayed, and only for a short period of time, after which without the page being reloaded - the ad is removed - the ad provider in question is Sovrn Holdings/ Lijit.com. I've managed to get the ad to display once, out of 10 refreshes - the ad is visible for 30 seconds and then disappears - but the block in which the ad sits is permanently in position and over the pagination.
It would appear that Lijit is very notorious for placing annoying / intrusive ads and a quick google for them doesn't paint a good picture. I'd like to not run any adblocking on polycount - but honestly if that ad provider stays I might consider turning it back on.
Scaling issues persist on mobile with the ads, an easy fix should be to throw it into a media querry class so it'll scale properly.
Also mobile it seems impossible to click through your bell icon notifications. You can click the bell icon however the hyperlinks in the drop down don't seem to work

Tested on Pixel 1 in chrome (1080p display)
As a follow up, the ads are probably pre-defined via js (width) wich makes it work on desktop browser however once you switch to mobile there's a difference in behaviour. causing the menu button to be at the far right... actually just off screen.
The bell notification is another tricky issue, as something is overlaying the menu, so you can actually click on a link in the notification, there's a good fix for it, but it requires some more modification to the navbar. starting with removing navbar-right as a class and probably work with display flex, to fix those issues quick and easy.
Probably best to have mobile menu like this. tho with a little padding on the left ofcourse. but its usally better to have the menu from left to right.
not sure if this is the right thread to ask but i made an account today and wrote up a thread in general discussion with some effort but i think it got taken down by the spam users because im a new user. its not showing up in my account dashboard and im wonder if a mod could restore it or if there's any other way to get it back?
"We had some intermittent issues with a server today, but it was reset at about 2pm EST. I notice the initial report was at 1, are you still seeing the errors currently? If so I'll pass this ticket along to ops to look into. We're looking into the root cause of this issue and should have it completely resolved asap."
Should be all resolved. If you see it again though please let us know.
@Eric Chadwick I have two extensions installed, Greasemonkey and UBlock Origin (with Polycount whitelisted). I just checked and it seems that if either is enabled the tab crash issue happens, doesn't matter which one. I know Mozilla changed the way addons work recently so it might have something to do with that. Having to turn any/all (?) extensions off just for Polycount is kind of a bummer, so hopefully Vanilla has some insight.
i've cleared my cache , but i still can't upload images , tried on chrome safari and firefox on 3 different devices ... apparently some other users have the same issue.
I'm having the same problem with uploading pictures here on Google Chrome with Windows 10. I don't have any script blocking plugins active, and I've tried clearing my entire cache.
To be more specific, since it may help, here's what I actually did to no avail. I cleared my full browsing data for all time, reset all browser settings to default, and disabled all extensions. I also tried running the page in Incognito Mode so no stray scripts would have a chance of interfering. When I try to place an image in a post, either by uploading or linking, it does nothing. The Attach Image window just sits there and never actually inserts the image.

Once you've posted 10 times successfully, you'll be promoted from rank "null" to "vertex". Then formatting rights will be granted.
I'll add a note about this to the Intro sticky.

I thought I was the only one. The fonts look different.

Do you have any script blockers installed? What browser?
Tried Firefox and it worked fine.

Talking with Vanilla Forums support. Sorry for the trouble everyone.

I'll keep prodding Vanilla Forums support.

Also pasting in text from prior posts loses all formatting now...
anyone else experiencing this?
