I WAS going to say that I'd love to see this set at a fueling station to give it a little more story/context but then I read your write up and you already went through that and rejected the idea.

Thank you, Warren!
Yeah, the fueling idea was really tempting, but I was running out of time
Adding little details. Looks a bit fat right now, I'll go back and work on the face sculpt some more later. For the body I'm thinking of making a costume like that of River Tam.
I'm gonna call this one done.
With some delay from my initial deadline the texturing tutorial will be done this week. It will also include the complete making of for the weapon.
I've been photoscanning my own bed for fun.
It was mainly for playing with the subsurface material on marmoset, I didn't even bother refining the scan on Zbrush.

Hello.
Im an environment artist for iNiS Corporation based in Japan.
I made this scene using UE4.
Its of an abandoned shopping arcade like you kind you might find in Japan.
I posted this over on the unity3d subreddit but I figure it would be good to post here as well, like, in an actual art forum. I'm working on a simple texture tool for taking an image and making a material out of it. Hopefully I will have a demo out in a week or so.

I also wrote a complete Making Of, explaining the whole process if anyone is interested:

I was reading about WWI trench warfare so I made a handy dandy trench knife speed-model. (Took around 45 minutes.)

And doing a likeness bust.
Ignore shitty projection texture.
Will do a game res bust, so i could practice making a realistic head, with alpha hair, because i suck at it.
EDIT: and i think i'm done with this Korra
I'm crossposting from my thread.
Would love to get a feedback and criticism there.

Spent 30 minutes creating this texture in Substance Designer.
Liking this! Love the water effect you added in the tire tracks and in the mud. In 30 minutes too!
Not super happy about it because it was a bit rushed.
honestly the coolest thing ever!
LOVE this. Great work.
