Substance painter fun on an older model I had made as a hard surface exercise. based on a Killzone Shadowfall concept. About 3hrs of texture time. Grunge is totally over the top, definitely a WIP shot. Gonna mask out the grunge and get some light paint wear in the grunge areas to expose base metal underneath.
IDK if I will be able to go back to Photoshop texturing after using Painter.
Some progress. I had to blend the normals for the wood and stucco separately. The normals for the wood were very shallow before. This looks a bit more balanced.๏ปฟ
I remember there being a grass tutorial that uses FX maps to fake grass blade depth, with rotation etc. If you combine that with your material, you'll be a millionaire soon haha.

Here is a few assets i worked on (Modelling, texturing, all that jazz). Around 2-3 days each, from sculpt to textures, based on concept by their concept artist. Maybe i'll have the chance to make an artdump at some point . Only time will tell.

I've been working on a RT version of the character oh wolverine.
After I created blueprints, I made the model in 3dsmax, then I painted it with ZBrush.
