Yeah I agree. But the rig escaped from me and I was too lazy to call the authorities to hunt that bastard down so I'll have to make a new rig for him. Which I can't be really arsed to do right now.
So here's a very badly cropped pic of a mediocre helicopter rig with some expressions so the rotors can be animated automatically. I've made a car rig yesterday as well but I still gotta work with the deformers for the tire squishiness and this helicopter thing is missing some touches as well
And something new character wise. Somewhat , reused a mesh I had before but the character turned out crap 3 months ago? So I wanna make it better this time.

And doing some more work on this , the texture is NOT FINISHED yet but I went and did a pose anyhow , working on the presentation and whatnot.
Your skins really lacks more color, especially in the shadows. It looks a bit too lifeless right now. Maybe go over with a brush set to soft light or something similar.
Here the shadows are pretty red and the highlights are yellowish, everything is saturated and nice.
In your texture you have some nice redish colors in the stomach but everywhere else it's too white and washed out looking.
It's starting to look much better! I'd say the tail's still too soft and the hoof indents are a bit odd,You're fairly low res atm though, so I'm sure you'll fix it as you go. Keep it going dude! ^_^
Yeah I'm moving at a mind numbing slow pace right now , animals and non-bipedal creatures aren't my comfort zone so I'm rather wonky with these things.

I personally don't like Kelvins yellow highlights , it reminds me of bruised skin.
