chill dude - they doing something very awesome here - trust me. At the end you want a tool thats working great and has some nice features - instead of something buggy.

Maybe it´s the E3 start is one of the possible reasons for the release delay. I must confess I´ve been checking all day, every five minutes or so. I had my birthday gift today, acintiq companion, so the anticipation had been doubled, LOL... I received the shipìng at 19h!!
But now I want the Quixel Suite to play a bit with the fast sculpt I did this evening
I can understand some people frustration, It´s hard to accomplish deadlines, harder because Quixel is a small studio, and their suite has created a huge expectacion, but being rude doesn´t help.
I´m really dying in expectation, but Quixel release had been a bit eclipsed by a new hardware toy I received today, but really really waiting for QS release, and try both hardware and software together LOL
Sorry for the lack of communication on this front. We have been working around the clock getting this ready for you guys not only on a software level but also the server load level. Thanks for hanging in there and we hope that you guys enjoy the beta once it drops!
PBR looks awesome, i have a problem though. Shift Left click does not work to select a texture on the color map in the previewer. Anybody else got the same problem ?

Has to be said, the sheer speed and stability of the suite makes it such a pleasure to deal with over the dDo legacy version - proud to use Quixel software
EDIT: in the new nDo, 3Do won't let me select a mesh it's greyed out, anyone know?
My question is how do I add custom layers? In the legacy version, there were 7 free layers to add whatever I wanted. Also, once I start editing a masked material, how to I go back to see the overall result when I'm done?

You can just add Photoshop layers, they'll work seamlessly and won't break the UI like they used to. I don't think you can even break the PSD without trying now - hats off to the Quixel boys

Sometimes get this when applying a regular (non-smart) material via shift+click in 3do. Works fine if I add the material through the UI then link it to the colour id. Using photoshop cs6.
noticing a lot of bugs/crashes when trying to duplicate layers in the new ndo. Is there some trick i am missing? seems I can't edit the new duplicated layer....
Can you guys please release some files to play with - 3d asset and maps? I can make my own of course but it'd be nice to fire up the suite and follow along with the tutorials right away.

Would be cool to have a version with just the input files though, as it seems that the vast majority of the fairly large filesize belongs to the dDo PSDs.

Trying to tile something 2 times requires on some slider fiddling to line it up correct
