Dado Almeida: wow these are very cool! I spaacially enjoy the character pinups and the hero that looks like its pixel art.
Raul, I'm a big fan of Jean Baptiste Monge, this is looking lovely, and I very much look forward to see it finished
stevston89 :amazing! its beautifully accomplished! I like everything form the design to the model .
wow, there is so much beautiful work in here!!!
Here is a small animation I'm working on right now. Its my second try at animating this week (I've never animated in 2d before) and I'm a bit stuck on the final floating part in this one. Will post when its finished!
said it before but you're doing Mark Stevens original design justice--i'm active in the Ma.K online community, and it's so seldom that someone really "gets" the nuances of the design philosophy enough to translate from the model to a digital version. or they get some ideas about how to "improve" it
been working on a trailer for our game, just doing some renders for use as establishing shots for the world of the game. bashed this out in a couple of days, despite never really having done something like this, with the ship in the foreground in about 15 minutes. the overall effect makes me think of GITS 2 / SAC.
My Blizzard Student Art Contest submission. Only after submitting it do it's mistakes become apparent to me. Among other things I gotta work on increasing my level of detail.
I'm not sure where else to share this, but I wanted to share with the community a ZTL bust of a middle aged man I made during a lunch crunch awhile ago. I also wanted to share two Matcaps I made a while ago that I use all the time when sculpting and poly painting. Please try them out, modify them however you want and share!
commador - Thanks a lot for pointing that out. I was working from a couple of different photo references so I probably mixed this up with another bullet. Will fix that!
hey gauss.. saw this video and first though honestly "boring front image" 2nd though was "impress me or go away" after 2 seconds of viewing "ok I'm impressed"
then I saw that you posted it.. so Well knowing that earlier I'd put more trust in it.. but seriously.. change that front image with the planet.. it's just not doing the whole thing justice.
I think both you guys have the similar problem of your backgrounds/grounds taking away the focal point of the prop. Try to create some more contrast between the two.

Yeah, good point! I was just playing around with some of the Quixel materials.
Been working on a Lizard man in Zbrush. One of my first fully finished things in ZBrush, I'm trying to retopo him now so I can UV and bake maps and stuff.
@angipauly: not into animation aswell, but I´m sure you´re learning a lot doing those ones, right? Think it look smoother when you nail the timming on it (some drag when she´s raising, than more closer frames when she´s up, floating and spread ones when she´s falling).
Liked your work a lot btw. Very fresh themes and various techniques. Rssed for sure. ;-D
Here´s some -non-game-related- that I just finish this week:
Thank you Dado! I will keep working on it, I am learning so much through this process, and it is so much fun! Thanks for Rssing!
This painting looks great, would love to see more traditional paintings!

trailer out tonight!
Looks really nice. Since you are aiming for realism, I just thought I would point out rimfire cases don't have primers.

A little likeness sculpt from yesterday:
hahahaha is this a "what if: Kristen Stewart grew up in New Jersey"?
That hair is rad!
