An integrated suppressor on an SBR? Me wants The magpul furniture is all very accurate as well. Nicely done yet again.
If I were to nitpick, I'd say some of the grunge looks strange. But it also looks like it was just applied to the render in Photoshop for aesthetics, not to the mesh itself?
This piece is about 60% WIP at the moment. Still a bunch of little and big things to do, but overall pretty pleased with how far it has come! C&C always welcomed!
Next to no time for personal projects at the moment and not much in the way of ideas either....sick of sculpting faces and trying to get likenesses, so I decided to dust this guy off. I will no doubt ditch him again when I get a better idea but ......meh.
I decided to take a break from environments and focus on individual props. I found some really good reference for an old gas canister and thought it would make for a great project.
I'm planning on taking this into ZBrush to flesh out some of the larger details, then bring it into ddo if I can actually get it working...
Mannnnnn, so many great entries (gulp). I came back to this piece that I put down a while ago because of work, but I liked it enough to come back and finish it. It's the Cyber Owl piece from Konstantin Maystrenko (Zoonoid). Still a bit more texture work to go, but roughing in more of the surfaces.
I've been spending a few hours every now and then for the last couple of weeks to make this thing so far. I started with making a cube in the position of each fin and main body, went into Zbrush and dynamesh'd it. From there I made the main shape and details, took it back into Max and added eyes and teeth. Then I took it to 3D coat and retopo'd it and started doing some paint work on it and will use the high poly later to add some nice details and different maps.
My aim was to keep it under 1000 verts and it's target platform is for mobile. Lemme know what you guys think!
Render test using a highpoly character I made in ZBrush. I brought it in as a 35million poly mesh (OBJ) and rendered it in Keyshot. Can't wait for the 4R7 Keyshot bridge!

I'd love some feedback, but please go easy on me.
It's a pirate type fellow with a gun for a leg. I might make a thread for it.
By the way does anyone make base meshes in max? I get the impression everyone starts in zbrush these days...
that looks good but somethings gone wierd with the normal shading?
