Hi guys! This is my first post as I am very insecure and a bit intimidated by work around the internet & my very talented classmates.
Working on a airship model, going to put it ingame in a game called Sword of the stars, love modding that game
Any help is cool, Tri count is 3200. I thought it would be cool to post here, i never get feedback or compliments and that demotivates a bit on my school.
small update.. plants not final (only albedo) and iam trying to add some more stone variation.
- water need and alphamap to fade out - also a normal map ..
Alot to do so ^^
also a placeholder in the scene .. Thinking about a barrel and a torchlight
Finished King Minos for a Dante's Inferno CG Trailer that is in the works. Made these renders myself in Marmoset 1 so I am excited to see how he turns out for the final trailer. If anyone is interested it will be coming out this summer and you can already see some teasers for it here. https://www.facebook.com/DantesRedemption
Here's a gameplay video of all the previous elements coming together. I'm planning to adjust the ease in and out of the droppers to make it have more impact and more intimidating. An updated character is also in the works with better animation. More on that soon.
HELLO, My name is Israel and I want to show some of my personal work. The character was designed to a challenge. I modeled the character in Zbrush. The final scene was done with vray
Been playing about with TB2 for the first time, I usually do high poly/cinematic stuff so this should be fun just a mid level sculpt and blurry polypaint and a few tweaks to the skin shader haha
Hey this was the latest environment i made... it's not game art as i's rendered in VRay and composited in After Effects; thought i share it anyways. Hopefully that's ok.
@Tazkov: It looks like you haven't softened any of your normals. I'm not familiar with Blender, but you should be able to select individual edges and either soften or harden them.

How'd you do that lovely soft looking padding on the jacket? Was it just hard tedious work, or is there a particular brush that helped?
Mainly just used the claybuildup and went nutz. It was a pain but didn't take very long at all.
Thanks! Looks really good. I'll have to try that on the armor I'm making.

I realy need to limit myself to only one week per project. I tend to loose momentum and drag and waste my own time Rotating again.
Total noob here, working on my first 'model'. Does anyone else see the seams on the sketchfab model? Why is this happening? I'm using Blender.

Edit: Tetranome, SaboR1996, NanoTurtle Thanks a lot! Did what you suggested and that fixed it.
Love it.
All the other works in here are also awesome!
Hope that helps!

Would like to make this a full character if i had the time.
it doesnt look like seams, it just seems like there is no smoothing groups applied to your model?
Select your object inside Blender and under Object Tools -> Shading click the Smooth button.

Vray dirt shader = very nice.
damn i wish i could figure out how to approach such massive detailed projects. Did you do the base mesh in Maya / Max?
It'll all rendered in:
- Keyshot
- Marmoset Toolbag2
- Mentalray (Mike Nask Bundle)
And once again, all modeled in Zbrush!
