We aren't allowed to communicate any information about the beta, I assume it would be okay to post finished pieces using the beta here though... We should probably get confirmation on that though.

+1. Bit of a shame it can't be shown to others though; I was planning on using it the g+ hangouts so people could see it in action. Ah well. But I imagine we'll be able to show finished stuff at the very least.
Can't wait  I've got some meshes lined up for painting.
Quoting this because I would like to know as well if showing the finished work we did with it is allowed or not.
YES, you will be able to share finished work if you believe it's worth sharing You won't be able to communicate specific things about the software though, but only for a limited period of time. We'll relax this constraint as soon as we reach an acceptable level of quality.
Guys, we plan to release the Substance Painter Beta 1 around 4pm PST today. You should receive Steam beta keys by then (and check your junk/spam box too). Stay tuned!
dang I wish i could join too,
i use substance for my personal guyver project for texturing now, pretty convenient , would be nice to be able to paint some input directly to the model

I see there's an option to report bugs,
But where/to whom do we communicate ideas and suggestions?

I signed up for the beta before the cutoff post was made, but I haven't received an email like that yet. Should I be worried?
EDIT: NVM apparently it got sorted by gmail into another sub folder. I ran a search for it and found it w000t I can't wait.

please use the Community Hub on Steam to ask direct questions and use the report bug option to send bugs directly to our support team
Either on the Steam Community Hub or via personal message on Polycount if needed.
I can't wait to put my hands on it!
I been trying to make a good workflow with Cinema4D Body Paint, Photoshop Extended 3D Paint Tool, Maya Brush Tool and Mari.
I have big hope Substance Painter is going to be the one complete my workflow!
since i'm under NDA, i think all i can really say is: "awesome".
I really think SP is going to revolutionise the texturing process, insta-buy for me
i want to get my hands on it - afterworks!! so excited
I have created a steam account for substance painter beta, but I don´t know where to find the download?
never have been using steam so far...
I thought we were supposed not to publish any painter beta work for now?
