A character I made to play with rendering fur in Blender (Blender Render mode, will try out doing it in the Cycles Render too later). Still needs some work. Go bunny pig, Ginnub!
It's actually a really nice character, and I would like to see him/her properly rendered with soft hair etc, I think he/she would be fairly cute -- but the way it's rendered right now I feel like it might murder me in my sleep.

You know? I was trying to come up with a good way to say this same thing! :poly122:
Lonewolf: Dude you are a machine! Awesome work. I love the subtle stains on the guns and the case. Although the stains lower left corner of the case are a bit too prominent for my taste.
Anyway: This rocks!

Haha, I agree with you and Xelioth! The character has not been rigged and posed either giving the eyes and mouth quite the grinny stare too. I got a handful of suggestions from somebody how to adjust the fur settings. I will get back to you with a hoperfully less murdeous fluffy thing
somnovus, I like the character, gives off a Dune vibe -- but the graphic design here is brilliant, especially the heaven/hell type and logos. The half-cut on the right side of hell is so smart.
zxcman, nice character, love some of the design touches, especially the fabric on the pipes. Chromatic A. is really strong though and makes it harder for my eyes to focus. Really great work.
Update on the Blank Workshop character. Nearing the finish / Final 10% on this guy, will probably take a few days to polish some areas that are bothering me and move on to the low:
I always have to pick my jaw off the ground when I see your work. Great stuff again!!
Just testing my pipe materials. 2 textures for each color material. Same tiling diffuse(mostly pure white and a little bit of AO), detail normal, and spec/gloss. Just uses the DiffuseColor option to add the color.
That is wickedly sick bitgem, make game nioaw.
How long did that take though? cause it looks like it took quit some figuring out, or your claiming to just be as good as you are and say 1 week?
:poly124:
So much good works here !
Here's my contribution. This is my entry for the fighting game challenge on facebook. The sculpt is still WIP although it's nearly done.

Finally got the texture I wanted.
Here's some updates to the scene I posted a screen of last night.
I love that droid work, Tom Paul!
Moar Star Citizen work from me:
Technically part 3 of six characters, need to redo part 2 due to it having one of the least interesting silhouettes in the history of backlighting
Anyway: This rocks!
Going to be doing more character work, here is a gatekeeper for Substrata:
impressive

nope, I used mari and PS and generated normals with knald
Hopefully I did it justice. Now on to something more long term...
Continuing my scene
I would like to show something I'm working, this is almost all animate by sliders, with expressions and scripts
I hope you glad!

This is one of my latest jobs, this is the Ghoul from Ghouls'n Ghosts ( SNES ).
Its a remake, i tryied to maintain the "horror" aspect.
I did everything taking references from Tales from the Crypt and other horror movies, and of course, the Ghoul from the original game.
cheers!

Been playing around with Sketchfab lately and I'm really enjoying it.
Here is a piece that I am currently working on. An old school Donkey Kong arcade machine.
IMO Steve Wiebe is the Donkey Kong champ
