You got some pretty inspirational stuff. That Bamse sketch is fabulous! Your second latest piece I find to be spot on, the lighting, values, great color balance, its all there man, great focus point. Keep it up.
Even though I can't tell what they're supposed to be I like the direction. They need to be defined more basically. Perhaps working a bit more graphical than subtle would do the trick. There's a lack of contrast in regards to depth.
Of the thumbnails, I like 1 the most, maybe because it looks more photographic than the others, like if it was a study. It got more variation in color but still keeps within a limited palette. Or maybe it's the subject. Just looks more pleasant and thought through.
@AimBiZ yes, i agree, the lack of depth really brings the pictures down. But those two are actually part of a whole set of pictures - in hindsight it would proably have made more sense to post the whole set.
They are 'concepts' for an animation that some frieds of mine are working on. I will post a link to the animation once its done
Digging the palettes in the new moody ones. The blue and reds play very well together.
Don't know what your intention was with the robot but you definitely rushed it. For designing things, make variations, and don't neglect the purpose of the design.
@AimBiZ Thanks for your compliment! You are right, the robot was rushed, especially the design - but your tips will be very helpfull when i take my time designing! Thanks!
Hey Esbjörn!
Thanks for your comment on the robot!
I really like your stuff, very good variaton, ideas and sweet renderings! Also saw your commander kiss picture, you must be a friend of Axel and Walter right ?

Thanks for you comment joel! And yes, i was in the same class as axel before and now i help him and walter out with art sometimes.
I have worked really hard on this one, but something feels wrong with it, probably the original composition, i should have started over in a earlier stage
Oh wow guys! you overwhelm me with your kind words!
Anyway, I talked with a good friend of mine who gave me some tips how to improve the picture. Personally I feel much more satisfied with this version, however, some people seems to prefere the original better.

You sure like your old wooden houses. Would be interesting to see you tackle clean futuristic structures. More play on light than detail sort of.
@AimBiZ nope, it's not just you, I agree with you, should have been more bright red.

You're doing these for anything in particular?
