Hey man, this thing is looking really good! A coworker thought that her neck looked really long though, and he did a paintover that removed the clothing around her neck which I'm posting here:
This is really impressive. Out of curiosity do you make all your parts in zbrush or do you use another modeling package such as Maya for the base shapes. Also, what shader are you using in zbrush?
Also, I was wondering about your approach/workflow when creating the block out of your character. Do you sculpt and build it out completely in Zbrush, or do you use Maya or Max (and if so, how much detail is put into your blocked out shapes before further detailing in Zbush). Thanks!
I liked the bulkier style better, it's not something that's seen often, made her feel like she really has to make an effort to survive and added a lot of weight to the silhouette.
I turned into a bit of a hermit crab with this one after I reached a point where just waiting 24 hours to look at it again would make me hate everything about it.
I changed a lot but overall I'm not incredibly happy with it, I'm not gonna go into too much because it's late but I'll just say that I can write a very long list of mistakes I made with this.
Anyway, it's 4am, I'm very tired and I'm at the pinnacle of no longer giving a shit about this character. I may write some stuff later
I might take some bigger/closer pics this weekend.
The only minor issue im having with it is that while the big clumps of fur are very nicely done, they have a heavy stylized look that clashes with the rest of the model which has very realistic material definition.

Finish it Fletcher, geeeeeeeeeez. ;D
Either way, stunning work!
The only downside to this piece is that her clothing is very monotone. Could you add a few splashes of colour in there somehow?

It's been a long time since I've felt this kind of "dayum". For real, something to be proud of.
