Thanks to anyone who tuned in to the stream. It was fun. I'm really surprised how positive the effect was on my work. I got a lot more done and stayed a lot more focussed than usual. the amount of work I got done probably would have taken me twice as long normally with how bad I am about chatting and browsing the web.
I'd recommend others try it out.
I had viewers even for stuff as boring as retopo, thanks to some nice retweets.

Nah, I'll test to see if I can get them to look decent without adding bones. If I cant, I'll shrink them to just the neck flap bones or remove them all together.
So like... I bought me an Intuos 5 medium size tablet. No more wrist pain and hopefully faster workflow. Any resources I should check to quickly adapt to using this on 3dsmax, mudbox, photoshop and generally?
It did cost an arm and a leg though :S but no regrets.
@Vayne4800 Intuos in mudbox/zbrush/photoshop should work without any extra setting if you have your drivers installed. For 3ds max i don't recommend using tablet it if you have wrist pain. However there is nifty device for 3dsMax/Maya/3DCoat that could help you with that: http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/spacenavigator.html
Using it you don't need to manipulate camera with your mouse and thus you will save allot of right hand movement and also after a while its really intuitive
Its not a miracle device, however I really enjoy using it.

Im having some trouble with my courier, the death animation replays in the middle of the sequence.
It plays 15 frames of the death sequence, restarts and then play the whole sequence.
Plays normally on the preview and everywhere else, this hiccup with the animation only happens in the ingame preview.
So I decided to re-texture one of my old sets from back in november when I had no clue what I was doing, more for practice than anything else. It ended up being a lot more work than I thought it would because I had to redo large parts of the model as well, and make a new weapon since the old one was terrible. It's really nice to see the progress I've made in the past 6 months though.
I still need to make some big changes to the wings/wing tips and tweak the helm a bit but for the most part it's finished. I won't be making any large sweeping changes but crits would be appreciated.
I think a problem you're facing is that the wings look too organic. OD is literally half-rock, and those look like leather or skin. Also, some of the colors don't match up completely (the helm for example).
That look pretty damn radical
I'd tone down the spec so the cloth doesn't look too much like rubber
I'm going to go way out there and guess it's something like a necronomicon minion?
in other news I discovered how useful blenders "Weight Transfer" tool is
I'll probably do a few texture upgrade like some fabric patterns or something and then it's off to the tester
Since you mentioned how much trouble you had with that bristleback shirt vlad you might want to look into finding a weight copying plugin or something.

Latest update for the oldschool skel king warrior kind of guy,, no helm and no shoulder right now so it seems a bit empty, but I am on my way. But now I have to sleep. Still a bit shaky after the latest game of throne episode (no no no spoilers!)

Had an idea for Crystal Maiden the other night inspired by watching some 40's style movies or tv shows or something. haha
I dunno about the cloak but whatever. Maybe I'll come up with a better idea in the morning.

The colors don't jive well yet but I'm not sure how to get that to happen. if anyone has multiple color schemes, it's invoker.

I think if the shoulder wrap/scarf is moved slightly higher up on the arms in the front it would balance out the sleeves quite a bit.
