Hello all guys! First post here. Yesterday we finished and uploaded a weapon for Omniknight, the "Hammer of the Ancients". Here are some images and a link to the workshop. Hope you like it!

Yeah WTF. I am just finishing up this set and the game prompts me to close it and update. After doing so, 90% of my importer options are now gone. Can't toggle LODs or control animations.
Edit: Phew, alright. All of the options reappear if you just toggle to portrait view and back.
Double Edit: Wonderful, now one of my set items that worked a few minutes ago in the previous version crashes every time, even on a fresh import. This could completely hinder me from completing and uplodaing...
Hmm haven't seen a button where you can test your item ingame.. At least not in the main client, did someone test it with the dota2test? For some reason Steam removed my dota2test

There is an easy work-around.
After importing the item go to -> Portrait View
Once you have done that the animations are available for the other sections, too.
Frummi I'd add a gradient to the teeth, darker at the base and lighter toward the tip. Also I would add a slight yellow tint and maybe some darker groove lines.
Hey guys, I'm exporting animation via the .smd exporter that comes with the Source Film maker but all the animation is flipped on the side, as if it was taking all the Y-translation values and using them for Z-translation and vice versa. Any idea where/how I can fix that?
Ugh this patch couldn't have been at a worse time. I stayed up all night to finish this and got delayed a couple hours trying to work around it. As a result the naming is extremely half assed and the presentation is somewhat incomplete. So frustrating...

Anyway, here's the (mostly) final product!
These giant yellow plates are looking really out of place right now. Maybe you could add some flame motif or just yellow-red gradient on them? Also, the flame pattern on the skirt is too strong compared to the flatness of the armor, maybe you can even it out.

I like the armour but you could do more with it. It's vast amounts of pure gold. You could also curve the thigh plates more to match flow around the skirt and give her more of an hour glass shape.
I agree with the armor plates needing something more, they're too plain at the moment. Maybe red flames along the bottom to match the gold flames on the skirt?

Maybe something ornate or something like you've got on her chest. I'd add something to the braces too.

in the exporter you have an option to select the up axis, check that

Maybe if all together send out massive amounts of emails to Valve appointing the issue. Let them feel the pressure. Comment privileges after some days of created the account or not nbeign able to spam like that atleast.
I've actually visited the link before - the first time I got the message. The contents were disturbing, to say the least.
First thing I did was delete the comment. Then I sent a message on the dev panel requesting that they look into it - as it's bad for business to have that thing out there.
Unfortunately all we can do for now is go to the steam profile, report for spam, and then block all communication. I do that every time I see a spammer even if they're not spamming my own stuff.
That said valve really does need to make a requirement of having purchased something before a steam account can comment on workshop items...

I present to you my first workshop contribution, a pudge hook !
And huge thanks to Nannou who helped me finish this and must now think i'm really annoying with my stupid questions

Also the weapon shines like crazy ingame. It is not mask 1 Alpha(self-illumination) so what did I mess up? :poly122:

There will be a fix out on Monday. In the mean time Robin Walker posted a workaround to try. I haven't done it yet so I can't confirm if it works.
