First time doing this challenges... I decided to handpaint the wheelcart. I still think it needs a lot of work, some areas out of the shot are not even painted... some parts are too busy, I really wanted to repaint the golden parts too, and equalize better the surface and its colors, but I'll be away for the rest of the month so I had to call it done.
Hi guys , i think it's me for that one i really pushed my self so hard cuz i joined this one so late hope i did well , the most challenging thing for me is to in do fast before i run out of time and achieve the most of the concept it self , i could do more but i am so tight on time unfortunately , all of assets and textures i made it by my self except of the boxes on the back ground
Ever heard of Z-fighting ?? If two faces with the same normal overlap.. even when using the same color.. So you better ("simply") follow (or respect) the grid.
@small99 : for what it's worth, IMHO the biggest mistake one can do when attempting a likeness in Zbrush is to get trapped by the habit of shift-snapping the viewport to front view, because *nothing* guarantees that the model of a head is tilted in a way that exactly matches the angle of the front view cam. This then results in oddly squashed features when attempting to match this "not quite front view" to a straight front reference photo.
First three because I'm a big fan of horror games with atmospheres so oppressive it feels like you're brainrotting as you play. New Vegas just because it's my childhood game and a great one.
Thanks Alemja for the heads up. You piqued my interest...will definitely check out Outer Wilds.
Totally, poo. It was the same for me. The kicker for me was getting matched up with just the right type of player to play with where you can be led (or be the lead) to new areas, all without words or text is just brilliant. (kind of like having a good improv partner, i guess)
Mass Effect games are great too! I might get flak, but I thought Andromeda was an exceptional game, warts and all.
