Whenever I create a new material, the final node has some stuff with white text while the other stuff is grayed out. How do I activate the grayed out options? See what I mean....

Hey Is it possible to create a new layer on all visible subtools at once? I want to pose my character, though it contains many many subtools, and going to each subtool and click new layer is a bit tedious... Cheers

When i load my mesh (OBJ) and Baked normal map (PNG) into the NDO project creator and select 'Create new Project' all i get is my normal PNG on a locked background layer?
Can create primitives or joints on a grid but not if grid is not in scene in maya. Whats wrong? So if character is big and grid is tiny, i turn it off. But now I cant place any joints it seems.
I'm trying to create a clamp function for use inside of dynamic functions (similar to the pow function in the library/functions/maths/pow...) so that I can reuse it easily later. What's the best way to do this?
