Hey!

I try to create a wrapped bandage with Insert Mesh Curve Tool.
But the problem is that the Insert Mesh Brush didn´t detect collision so i get a lot of intersections.
Can i somewhere activate some kind of "collision detection" so i didnt get this intersections while pulling on my curve?

Thanks,
Gazu

    That's not how 3d works :)

That would require a real-time or baked dynamic soft body/cloth physics simulation.
You'll have to do it manually using move topo brush, or MD if you have access.

Hold alt when using the move brush to constrain to normals.

    stroke > curve > snap

    increase resolution

    fiddle with the curve

use move brush to make final tweaks

Curve snap does not detect collision, but rather snaps to vertices (or averaged between them. in practice it works like collision detection, but it's not a one button solution. You've still got to do a lot of tweaking and know the rest of the tools to make things work how you want) with an adjustable offset. WIthout enough resolution on your curve, you won't be able to avoid meshes intersecting.

Any zbrush tutorial that covers the subject will show you these tools. This is zbrush 101 stuff so save yourself time fighting with it and just watch all the tutorials you can find.
