SOLVED: 3DS Max 2016 Cloning objects destroys mesh
About to move onto retopo after finishing a high poly, went to go simply clone my objects and upon doing so, I get this result: As you would imagine, it's *kind of* frustrating. Again, this is only after doing the clone function on ~9 pieces of geometry. -
Marmoset toolbag - norm map shows on wrong Mat/object
I made a character with 2 objects. The body/head and also a hair piece. They both have their own Mat/textures. The problem I'm getting is the normal map on the body/head somehow shows up on the hair material. You can see in the screenshot there's no normal map on the hair shader. -

Any tips on working on big Maya scenes with lots of objects ?
At the moment using good naming conventions,groups and layers. Anything else I can to do manage this scene ? Also would using instances instead of duplicates for repeating objects make the file size smaller,scene run faster its got pretty slow. Are there any downsides to using them come render time ? -

Why does GOB bridge export partially an object from Blender to Zbrush
The body of my character is a single object and I'd like to send it over to Zbrush, but this is what happens instead: The armor and part of the boots disappear at the end of the process. Does anybody have an idea why is that? -
