Character head model of augmented man. Main idea was to create a face of an old man with metal augmentation pieces. Really happy with the final piece, really like how metal elements look. Still need to sort out the skin material, looks a little bit unusual.
Beginner head? really? Amazing job so far, you've captured the likness already with the low-poly head. Great work! Probably the topology that could use some work but other than that it's really good.
I just moved to BlueHost. Looked good on paper, and people here recommended them. But I'm having some trouble importing my Coppermine gallery database, and their tech support is pretty slow. I stumbled across the CEO's blog, looks like the company is headed downhill. Anyone else having problems? His most recent post is a…

Hey guys, still working on getting at least one "portfolio ready" render out there. This is a head sculpt based on a model reference taken by the great Scott Eaton. I'll post a few more updates in here as I go. I might do a few more with the skin displacement detail tweaked and continue playing with the background. I'm…
I think that the best thing that you could do would be to start with an actual human head. Your cheekbones are a touch narrow and the eyes are a little low. Once you get a good human head base that's when I would add in the sores/skin damage. Cheers
