Hey guys, still working on getting at least one "portfolio ready" render out there. This is a head sculpt based on a model reference taken by the great Scott Eaton.

I'll post a few more updates in here as I go. I might do a few more with the skin displacement detail tweaked and continue playing with the background. I'm trying to get that atmospheric effect with that "dust" feel that some other artists on this site are able to get. Any suggestions on how to improve anything are welcome ty.

Hey man, sorry for the delay!

I'd say you are on the right track with the dust. It really is trail and error with it.

And I gotta say this sculpt looks great! I think the hair was done really well too.

The only nit-picky things I would say are maybe gravitating away from using a solid black background, even a really dark grey I find works better and it would great to see more renders/angles.

Other than that I thin this is awesome :)

Hey guys not really an update but just tried some editing to the topmost image. Is it helping or hurting it? I feel like I like this edit less up close but more from further away, idk. The contrast and detail is slightly less but I tried a couple things to try to get a little bit more of a photorealism, cinematic, atmospheric effect. Any advice welcome please. I'm no expert photoshopper like some of you :)
