Question about work order
When modeling characters, do you unwrap the low poly model first and then create the hi poly using zbrush or other modeling programs, or do you make the hi poly right after the low poly and unwrap the hi poly? -

xgen in maya not working
hi there, im trying to apply fur in maya using xgen but i get the following error (Cannot add the following items to the set since the set has restrictions on membership : groom_description4Shape) i get the error whenever i create a new XGen description using groomable splines (use for short hair, fur,grass etc) any ideas?… -

Hair work in Maya
So this is more of a question in regards to finding a faster workflow. So I'm wondering if there is a script or plugin out there that creates geometry in maya like Zsketching in zbrush. (I have seen a plugin for max that kinda does it) No big deal if there is nothing of this sort. But my random googeling has yet to yield… -
