Hey Polycounters, long time without posting here, so this is going to be a long post. The game Last Epoch was launched recently on steam and I had the pleasure to work on many gear sets for the main characters, and still working as 3D Lead for our talented 3D team at Eleventh Hour Games. :) So here I am posting the models… -

Cylindrical crap topology help
Hi, i have recently got back into 3d modelling, how would i go about fixing the topology of these booleaned cylindrical columns, i want to keep the edges of the columns so the maintain their shape, would i have to add extra edge loops? curious as to suggestions or whether the problem is in how i went about modelling them… -

The concept and design give desert oasis vibes, which I think is being hurt by the type of foliage outside and the blue sky from the overhead shot. The scene is just too hazy and kinda kills the vibes of the concept, something like this looks closer to the concept and feels better for the scene. -
