You could probably put a lot more polys into those buildings and maybe a few less into the hills in the background. Also is that a plowed field in the background? It looks like a hectic amount of polygons. The layout of the buildings is quite nice. -

There is no comparision, HL2 will out sell Halo2 in massive amounts. It all comes down to common sense really. You have to compare how many people own xbox over how many people own a computer. -

i've never seen a fat dude naked with my own eyes, but I'm pretttty sure they don't have that sort of muscle definition. More flab and nasty amounts of cellulite. Not sure whats going on with the mouth either. -
ZBrush's IMM brushes and micro meshes
I'm trying to make a fairly complex IMM brush that includes micromeshed geo. In my first test I had a decent amount of micromesh and the brush didn't repeat the center at all. In my second test, with a small sliver of micromeshing, the verts are welding weird. -
