I always love how natural everything looks in Game of Thrones. You know there is some CG going on but it all blends so well you usually don't even notice.

Nah but jokes aside, it is simply amazing. These guys are insane. Everything just feels in place and natural in that show. Great breakdown presentation as well. Awesome.

It really seems that compositing is what matters more than whether something is a physical prop or CG. Because there are some movies that used physical props that look way more fake and "CG" than Game of Thrones.

I bring this up because breakdowns like this I feel show that good special effects is not an argument of practical versus CG but an argument over proper art direction and getting proper lighting.
