Feels very dark, I assume there's a proper sun up above the grating. If so turn the lightbounces up to like 100, you need a lot more light. Also ditch the faked godrays using translucency, there's a much better version called Volumetric Fog you can switch on. In the concept there's also a lot of indirect light coming in…
Ok, this one's going to be a long shot, but I'm not really sure how else to source this info. I had a nice character concept that I picked up from Fighters Generation years ago. I was planning to use it as a reference, but it seems to have disappeared. Trouble is I don't know the name of the character or the game she's…
I agree with musashidan. Also it looks like your roughness map needs more variation and contrast. For example, making it rougher in areas where grime might gather, shinier in convex areas and adding small areas with extra shine to make it sparkle when the light hits it just right.
Make the cyan highlights white. Agree that you should add some warmth to it but not in the room. Get the whole image and desaturate the green so it's just blue & white in the room, darken the floor a bit and lighten the wall. Then outside the window to the right add a bright sun shining light orange into the room.

The "stuttering" could be a lot of different things; - You might just have some keys that are too close together. - You might have keys that are between frames. This can happen if you try to move keys to a frame that already has keys, instead of replacing the ones that already exist, it will offset the new ones a tiny bit…
Farted around in UDK today..messing around with materials. The stripes are definitely crooked here...I just did a quick test..I tried making a texture using the R,G,and B values for different stripe masks... It looks pretty ugly right now..just did a quick test. so theoretically I could just change the color of bikes by…
So I decided to do something unstructured this weekend. Just pick something and doodle on it. So it all started with this image that I came across while searching the intertubes: Love the stylized skulls! Very good "Day of the Dead" vibe there. I got to thinking that it might be neat to do a tiling texture of skulls in…
So I've been doing a lot of ue4 mobile stuff at work lately and needed an outlet to make more interesting art. Don't know where I'm going with this, just sit down a few nights and see what pops into my head. Right now I'm going to push the vine/root growth more with debris and breakup. still plenty of proxy meshes in the…
I finally came around to upload the images for the DLC of Halo 5. I have been working with amazing people Adam Peterson, Ryan Roth, Shawn and Erik Amezcua - Environment artist, Josh Dean - Lighting artist. I don't rely on the texture to make a variety of the value. Instead I consider lots of layers and depth to create a…
