i am having a problem where all my brushes are pixelated. ive tried resting brush import replacing them, dont really know what else to do. would welcome some help on this one. thanks
This is so confusing...this is my first tiled texture so it is probably wrong, but I evenly spaced the pixels out so it should be right, but as you can see there is some strange normal detail ghosting or something going on.
It looks like there is just not enough texture space on the UV for the normal map to actually represent any detail properly, resulting in these big pixels where the edges should be.
Yeah, the logo matches UDK logo pixel perfectly, only difference is the text and it is even done with the same font. I'd change that because it gives a bad impression.
this question seemed appropriate in this thread. whenever i bake normals and AO's, the lines are always pixelated. is there some kind of antialiasing i can activate in 3ds max?
This. I see a lot of people looking for filters to get 'hand-painted' textures. The best way to learn is to roll up your sleeves and slog through the pixels.
