What is up with this tiled texture?

This is so confusing...this is my first tiled texture so it is probably wrong, but I evenly spaced the pixels out so it should be right, but as you can see there is some strange normal detail ghosting or something going on.

I might be dumb but I still don't see what you mean :D Not sure what you want it to look like. Could you show the issue your having from another angle perhaps? And describe exactly what is happening vs. what you want to happen

Turns out it was an issue with me adding a clean normal detailed map in Quixel DDO to view it on. I made a wall in Max, put it in DDO and added my material and here it is:

As much effort as I put into trying to make this, it is the most beautiful wall I have ever seen *tears in eyes

    lol

Now I guess I can FINALLY add this to some buildings I have been racking up and go nuts with textures!

And now I just noticed the far right extrusion is too far from the others...lmao here we go again

Actually, now is a good time for me to ask how to better setup these lines in Photoshop. If I have 4 extrusions to make, then how do you measure that out on a 4096 normal detail?

I think there are still a lot of confusion and unclear things about these stuff and term in your knowledge, regarding textures and materials :/ you are talking about normal maps and we havent seen an actual normal map in your normal map error related thread. Also whats with ddo? I thought ddo was used to make maps other than normal maps, and ndo is used for that.

Its really hard to say anything to your questions in your threads, because the information you give about your problems, are badly described and misleading. I know I could just ignore them but im pretty sure other people would feel similar reading your topics. Please go and look up what is a material, and a texture, what types of textures exists, which ones from those you actually need, what do they do, and how are they connected to your material. Also, what are the possible ways of creating them. On a longer run (its already a longer run) this will save a lot of questions and back and forth us trying to figure out what did you possibly mean.
