Hey! I'm a student trying to hone my skills in character art and this is my progress on a dragonborn sorcerer. I've tried to spend some time getting the form/muscle detail right and I've still got a long way to go with anatomy and zBrush in general so crit is super welcome.
New creature model I have finished recently. While designing this guy, I referenced concepts from komodo dragons, gorillas, and rhinoceros. I am about to start rigging this character up for animation for students I teach. I will update with some animated clips once that is done. Hope you enjoy! model

Hi, this is my first post at Polycount. I'm currently a student pursuing a career as a 3D character artist and want to get into the game industry. I'm looking for some feedback / critique on my portfolio: http://yikuang13.wix.com/yk3d. Also, do game companies generally require more low-poly stuff in portfolios? Thanks

Mostly I just use the target engine. At work we typically make a custom level with the lighting set up, then all the artist use it to help keep things consists t. My students that are just making portfolio pieces tend to use the Marmoset Toolbag.
