Hi, i'm currently a student at NAD and i'm looking to participate in this, ho so awesome, challenge. ^^

I still don't know wich effect that I will do. But seeing what is being made already I can say that i'm a bit intimidated. XD

I'm in the same boat as you Alex, however Hereng is correct, it's about finishing, not winning.

And getting better. There are a lot of people here for critiques and feedback. Even if you are starting out, you will only get better from doing this competition. Real time VFX is a very small group of artists compared to stuff like animation, 2d and modeling.

Agreed! Most people don't care about the prizes (even though they're quite interesting!) and are just here to improve. It's not everyday you can get feedback from other FX artists.

i just joined the contest cause i love vfx
