Hey, I am an animation student working on a project to create three combo animation for a game character. They are still rough but I hoping to get some feedback to improve the end result
My main advice if you're going to go straight into full body animation so early in your studies is to either find or film some reference exactly how you need it and copy it to a tee. Import the image sequence onto a image plane/plane and make it look exactly the same.. This will give you realistic timing, proper center of gravity and posing.
I would recommend to watch Jason Shum's combat & jump lesson on youtube. You can also buy the lesson from gumroad. It's really good for beginners to watch since you'll get a reference of how to work and break down the workflow.
Thanks for the Feedback . I wish I heard about Jason Shum's combat & jump lesson before starting my project but now I have him saved to improve my future animations.
